A Dx and NOS?

Heres the deal, i can get a nos kit really cheap right now but i still only have my 91 dx (which i wanna swap the motor on soon) i was wondering how well a little kick of nitrous would work on this motor? Im not talking much maybe a 20-30hp shot, just something to give me a little extra kick for right now.Any thoughts would be great.

well it depends onhow of a deal you get. if its that coupon out of the fast and furious movie, then i would wait and save your money for the engine. but if its like $100-$150 off then i would buy it now and just stick it in your closet until you put the new motor in.

PS it took me forever to understand what "TTT" meant. but now i get it. (To The Top) ....hehe

There was a kid with a CRX down at my friends shop over a year so ago...he had his 1.5 up to a 50 shot...anything over that and the engine bay would get the "hand grenade goin off inside a china shop" effect. He went though 2-3 1.5L engines (hey they are cheap) but he didn't know when to say when with the amount. He even cracked the block on one of the engines. The hard thing with the DX motor is that DPI rather than the MPFI on the manifold...you need at one point some extra fuel...having only 2 injectors make that all the harder but it can be done. Just gotta keep the shot low like you said.

Yeah i can get the kit from a friend for $375.00 and like i said i only wanted to do a small shot 20-30.Thanks for the help!
